Kentuckiana Pride aims to be accessible to all guests. It is our goal to continually improve access to all guests with disabilities.

Venue Accessibility:

There are accessible pathways throughout Waterfront Park and the festival grounds. All walkways are built to ADA standards (or better). There are a few places in the park where there are steps, but there will always be a walkway without steps to access the same area.

Access Center:

All accessibility-related questions, can be answered at our Information Booth located near the main entrance. In addition, this will be the location to recharge wheelchair batteries or other assistive technology. If you need to store equipment such as oxygen tanks or insulin, festival staff will register the equipment and place it in a safe location. Thank you to Safe Place Services for staffing this booth.

Accessible Viewing Area:

Viewing areas will be provided at the main stages for ADA patrons. Please see the festival map or contact the nearest festival staff member for exact locations.

Sign Language:

The festival provides American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter at the main stages.

ADA Entrance:

All entrances/exits are accessible.

ATMs & Concessions:

The ATMs are fully accessible and located throughout the venue. If assistance is required please confer with a festival staff member.

First Aid:

The First Aid location is noted on the festival map. Professional medical staff will assist patrons with any medical issues that arise. Our team will be guiding patrons to First Aid if a medical emergency arises.

It’s June and the weather is always hot. Please stay hydrated.

Each year attendees are permitted to bring coolers with non-alcoholic beverages in their original, unopened containers. Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited.
There is also ample shade available in the tree grove to escape the sun and you can bring canopies.
You may also bring an empty refillable bottle that can be filled at the free water stations around the venue. A quench cart is available near the center of the property and is the best location to refill bottles.
Bottled water will also be available for purchase at each beverage station for $2.
*Be aware that all purses, bags, coolers, backpacks, etc., will be subject to search prior to entering the event for safety and security.

Handicap parking is available in the Lincoln Memorial Parking Lot. Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap parking areas will require a current, valid state issued ADA placard or plates with corresponding placard or plate paperwork.

Throughout the venue there will be sanitary, wheelchair accessible restrooms which will be pinpointed on the Festival maps.

Service Animals:

Service animals are welcome at the event and we encourage you to take advantage of the Pet Refresh station.

Quiet Zone:

A quiet area has been designated at the Lincoln Memorial and is accessible through the Northwest entrance.

Sober Zone:

An alcohol free beverage station is available near the Family Fun Zone and is indicated on the festival map.

Feel free to contact for any other questions and/or concerns.
