2nd Annual Drag Queens on Ice returns to Paristown’s Fête de Noël
Fun, entertaining and FREE event benefits Kentuckiana Pride Foundation
(LOUISVILLE, KY) – After its triumphant Louisville debut in 2019 and the necessary pause in 2020, Paristown is proud to announce the return of “Drag Queens on Ice” on Sunday, Dec. 5th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Fête de Noël Ice-Skating Rink in Christy’s Garden at 720 Brent Street. The event benefits the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation, is open to the public with free admission, with a suggested $5 donation at the door.
“The Kentuckiana Pride Foundation (KPF) is excited to be teaming up with Paristown once again for one of the most entertaining shows around,” said Rodney Coffman, KPF’s President. “There is no other show in the Kentuckiana area like it.” This year’s performers include Leah Halston, Tova Ura Vitch, Breanna Burns, Jasmine Star and CC. “With these graceful drag queens out on the ice, you have no clue what to expect,” Coffman noted.
Steve Smith, Paristown’s Managing Partner, has always believed Paristown would be a special place where folks from all walks of life can gather to celebrate art, music, food and community. “If this show is anything like it was the first time, the public can expect an evening filled with lots of holiday spirit, laughter, and great entertainment set amidst a delightful festive holiday atmosphere right here in Louisville,” he said. “Plus, we’ll be raising some funds for an organization that has done so much to support our LGBTQ community.”
Paristown’s 3rd Annual Fête de Noël has quickly become a popular destination for local and regional holiday revelers and leisure travelers. In addition to the 100’ x 40’ real ice-skating rink, the six-week winter holiday festival includes a new Santa’s Workshop, the Brent Street Holiday Market, and the Spirits of Scrooge Escape Room. One of Louisville’s most popular local restaurants, The Café, serves up specialty craft cocktails, Kentucky Hot Cocoa – with or without Woodford Reserve, and delicious small bites at the rink side concession bar and brand-new, outdoor Abominable Bar. The restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch every day, as well as dinner Wednesday through Sunday.
Kentuckiana Pride Foundation mission is promoting social, economic, and health equity of Kentuckiana’s sexual and gender minorities, we advocate pride, celebrate achievements, and educate leaders.
