When is Kentuckiana Pride Parade, Concert & Festival?
The Kentuckiana Pride Parade is on Friday, June 14 beginning at 7PM.
The Concert and Festival are both located on the festival grounds Friday, June 14 immediately following the Parade and Saturday, June 15 beginning at Noon (Gates open Friday 7PM – 11PM and Saturday Noon – 11PM)
Where will the Kentuckiana Pride Concert & Festival be held?
The 2019 Kentuckiana Pride Concert and Festival will be located on the Big Four Lawn of Waterfront Park in Louisville.
Where can I find parking?
Kentuckiana Pride is held in Downtown Louisville so there are numerous parking lots and street parking scattered around the festival area. Please remember that street meters in the area are monitored until 6PM on Friday and Saturday. We encourage you to consider a ride share option or taxi to get to the festival. NOTE: access to the Green, Orange, Purple, and Lincoln lots along River Road will be closed off after 6 PM on Friday in preparation of the parade route, arrive before 6 to secure parking in those lots.
Parking in the lots immediately adjacent to the festival site (Red and Lincoln lots) will be restricted on both Friday and Saturday.
Handicap parking is available on a first come, first serve basis in the Lincoln parking lot next to the festival grounds. You must display your permit for access and spaces cannot be reserved.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Event is family friendly and all ages.
What is the admission fee? TICKETS ON SALE WED, MARCH 27 @ 10:00am
Children age 5 and under are FREE with a paid adult admission.
Seniors age 65+ are FREE!
Attendees ages 6 through 64 are required to pay admission. General admission to the Concert & Festival is $5 each day at the gate or you can pre-purchase weekend pass for $10 online to get express entry
VIP Experience admission is available for $70 Friday, $90 Saturday, or discounted $150 for the entire Weekend. This includes your general admission fee.
If the admission price is economically taxing, FREE ADMISSION to the Festival may be arranged by becoming a PRIDE VOLUNTEER and volunteering a minimum of 4 hours. See volunteer page for more details.
Is the event accessible?
Yes. Kentuckiana Pride is located on public property and most venues will be handicap accessible.
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes. The Family Fun Zone on Saturday from Noon until 5PM is designed for families of all ages to have fun and enjoy the event.
What is the refund policy?
The event will be held rain or shine and there are no refunds.
Are credit cards accepted at the event?
Credit card terminals may be available at some vendors, but CASH is the preferred method. The bars are CASH ONLY. There will be ATMs available onsite for your convenience.
Where does the money from Kentuckiana Pride go?
The majority of sponsorships and fees at the festival go to the staging of the actual event. Any remaining proceeds are reinvested in our community according to the organization’s mission, future growth and collaborative projects. Numerous groups have benefited from the proceeds in the past few years including: Louisville Youth Group, Transwomen National (TWN), The LGBT Center at University of Louisville, and many more.
Are pets allowed at the Concert & Festival?
Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome at the event as long as you pick up after your friend. Please be mindful of the large crowds and typically extreme heat, but we will have a pet refresh station on the grounds with a cooling pool. You assume full responsibility for your pet and your pet’s behavior.
What is your alcohol and beverage policy?
Individuals at Kentuckiana Pride who consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. Event attendees who are obviously intoxicated will not be served alcohol. Individuals who become intoxicated during the events and exhibit drunken, belligerent or inappropriate behavior may be escorted from the area.
You must be at least 21-years-old to purchase or consume alcohol in the state of Kentucky. All alcohol sales require a picture ID as proof of age and we will check ID on site prior to issuing a 21+ wristband that must be worn at all times while consuming alcoholic beverages.
What can I bring to the Festival?
- Lawn Chairs
- Coolers (no alcohol or glass containers, these will be searched at the gate)
- Non-alcoholic beverages in their original, unopened container (stay hydrated)
- Tents (must be located in the designated area only and no stakes are allowed)
- A big smile (promotional photos and video may be taken while attending)
By entering, you grant Kentuckiana Pride Foundation, Inc., and it’s partners permission to use your likeness in all future promotional material, including but not limited to social media outlets, brochures, videos, and other printed materials.
What should I NOT bring to the Festival?
- Outside alcohol
- Camelbaks (backpacks that hold liquid)
- Guns, Knives, Tasers, or Weapons of any kind
- Fireworks or Flares
- Illegal substances
- Glass items
Do you recycle at the event?
Yes. We will have recycling bins set up throughout the festival area.
Is there a dress code at the event?
While we do not want to limit self-expression, you must comply with all local laws regarding your attire. Please be mindful that this is a family-friendly event open to all ages.
Is smoking permitted at the event?
The festival grounds is an open air park subject to local laws, but please be mindful of others especially in the Family Fun Zone and the Food Court. Dispose of your trash in the receptacles provided.
Smoking is NOT permitted inside the VIP tent.

No Unauthorized/Unregistered Vending of Any Kind
No Unauthorized Solicitations, Handbills, Sampling, Giveaways, posting of signs or placards to any surface. We welcome you to register as a Vendor.
Safety & Security
There will be security and medical assistance available within the festival grounds. If at any time you need emergency assistance and cannot find a medical or security agent, please find a Kentuckiana Pride Festival official.
Can I request a media pass?
Media passes will be granted on a first come-first served basis only after the requesting organization emails Todd Smith, Media Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org) or email@example.com with contact information, media outlet, website and pitch. Applications will be accepted by email until 4PM on Thursday, June 13th.
