Festival Code of Conduct
The Kentuckiana Pride Festival and Parade code of conduct is designed to ensure the parade and festival are safe and accepting spaces for everyone and that everyone is treated with courtesy and respect.
This festival and parade is a celebration recognizing the past struggles and future possibilities of the LGBTQ+ community. All participants in the parade and festival are expected to embrace and respect this.
The festival and parade is a safe space and will not tolerate any threatening, violent, harassing, or offensive behavior against its volunteers, staff, artists, performers, festival goers, parade participants, security personnel or members of the public.
We celebrate diversity and will not tolerate any individual making derogatory remarks about a person's age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, wardrobe, physical ability, economic status, and/or religion.
Above all, be kind and courteous to each other.
Festival Bag Policy
Totally clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." Bags should not have buckles, grommets/hardware or décor that conceals any part of the bag's contents.
Small clutch bags, which cannot exceed 4.5" x 6.5" in size, with or without a handle, do not have to be transparent.
Fanny packs/crossbody bags, which cannot exceed 12" x 6" x 4.", do not have to be transparent.
**Accommodations will be made at the gates for medical and childcare needs**
The walking bridge at Big Four Lawn will be open for foot traffic, but stopping and standing is not permitted.
FESTIVAL INFORMATION

The Kentuckiana Pride Parade and Festival will be on June 21, 2025 from 12pm-10pm at Big Four Lawn in Waterfront Park, Louisville KY.

Yes, tickets are required for attendees. General Admission tickets are $10 and upgraded ticket experiences are available. Ages 5 and under and 65 and over do not require a ticket.

Parking is available around the park. This website is a good resource for finding free and paid parking in the area.

Yes. We highly recommend using a rideshare to get to and from the festival. Note that River Road between Witherspoon and Preston is closed.

Yes, Kentuckiana Pride is a family friendly event. There is no age limit, all are welcome to attend. Folks 5 and under and 65 and over do not require a ticket.
Kids and youth activities will be available at the festival until 5pm

Visit the information booth at the festival for specific vendor locations, or explore the whole festival to find your favorites!

Ticket holders are allowed to leave and return to the festival, reentry hand stamps are located at the exit gates.
Returning ticket holders will need to go back through the main gate. The re entry hand stamp does not allow you to skip the lines at the main gate.
ONSITE POLICIES

Yes, portable restrooms are available throughout festival grounds. Hand sanitization centers will be located inside each restroom. Handicap restrooms will be available and restrooms will be monitored.

Outside food and alcohol are prohibited. Light snacks and food for dietary restrictions are allowed.
Unopened or empty refillable water bottles are allowed. Please see the full list of prohibited items before arriving and be aware that all bags will be subject to search upon entry.

Yes, there will be plenty of food vendors onsite and bars will be selling water, soda, and alcoholic beverages.

This festival is rain or shine. Any postponement or cancellation due to severe weather will be communicated via social media and email as necessary.

We are sure your outfit is awesome. We ask that you please don’t show your parts, and be respectful. Kentuckiana Pride is a family friendly festival.

We love pets, but given the heat and crowds we kindly ask you to leave your pets at home. Service animals are permitted at your own discretion.

No. Smoking is not allowed at the event as it may disturb others in attendance.

Lost and found items should be brought to the Information Tent. Items will be held for 14 days following the event. Reach out to info@kypride.com regarding lost and found items

TICKETING

Please present your ticket at the gate entrance for contact-free scanning. Tickets can be printed in advance or you can show your ticket on your phone.
Gates open at noon.

No. All sales are final and there will be no refunds. You may transfer your ticket to another attendee through the ticketing website or app.

HOW TO GET HELP

If you or a friend needs emergency assistance at the festival or if you see someone who looks like they need help, look for security personnel, any festival staff members, or anyone with a radio to assist you. Staff will call 911 in the event of an emergency.

Find a staff member or anyone with an event radio, we are happy to help you to the best of our ability.
A First Aid station is located close to the main exit on River Road.
SECURITY MEASURES

The festival works closely with local authorities to ensure the safest possible experience. You’ll notice uniformed security throughout the event. They’re there to keep you safe, so don’t hesitate to ask them for help if you need immediate assistance.
Please review the allowed and prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process, and email info@kypride.com if you have questions. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be held for later pickup.
REMEMBER: You’re the eyes and ears of the festival. If you see something suspicious, say something.
