2018 Parade is Friday, June 15 @ 7:00 PM

Come join in the excitement with the Kentuckiana Pride Parade that kicks off our weekend festivities. The parade route is lined with thousands in our community who come to celebrate and support diversity.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Preston and Market Streets. The route will travel North on Preston Street passing alongside Slugger Field and continuing as Preston becomes River Road. The parade will end at the Big Four Lawn just outside the Festival area.

Parade Participation Information

Please designate one person in your group to check-in with parade coordinators when you arrive. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m., Friday June 15.

The following rules apply to all participants.


  • …follow all instructions.
  • …wear family-appropriate attire.
  • …immediately report safety incidents.
  • …keep vehicles 10 feet from the next group.

Do not…

  • …interact with protesters.
  • …unload your vehicle in front of the Big Four park..
  • …throw any items into the crowd.

The Kentuckiana Pride Parade is intended for the entire community, please join us. Your group should designate a leader who should complete an entrance form for your group. Read the information below before submitting your entrance form.

The contact person indicated on the registration form will be the primary point of contact and must be available to assist the parade coordinators. Your representative will help with coordination of vehicle and group setup and controlling the flow of their float or group during the parade. Your representative must report at the check-in point for entry verification no earlier than 5:30 p.m. You must register and make your payment online to be in the parade.

We encourage groups to showcase their organizations by entering a float or organizing a group of walkers. This parade gives you an opportunity to promote yourselves in front of our community. All vehicles must be registered as floats; a vehicle pulling a float is counted as one float.
